Saudi women are just weeks away from hitting the kingdom's roads as the ban lift on women driving is set to take effect on June 24.

While many are already celebrating this news, it clearly hasn't gone down too well with some Saudi men who are desperately trying to vent their frustration via social media.

Early on Monday, tweeps launched the sexist hashtag "you won't drive," in a bid to spark debate over the matter yet again.

However, their attempt fired back when brilliant Saudi women savagely hit back at it.

It all started when this hashtag went viral...

"You won't drive, you won't drive."

Leading some to post offensive tweets like this one...

"I see that most of those barking in favor of women driving on TV programs are people who are originally from the Philippines or Asian countries. I'd like to send them a message, if your roots allow for you to be open-minded, our tribal roots go back thousands of years. Your calls will never change our principles. A woman will not leave her house without a male guardian."

And this one...

However, Saudi women were all there for it...

And savagely hit back...

With humor that was just right on point...

And tongue-in-cheek tweets that broke the internet

"Mootoo qahr"

Some shared photos of their future cars in response...

Others pointed out this fact...

"Its 2018 ..and they still got nothing"

Trolling level: Saudi women...

"Ya'll can keep crying"

"Game over"

"We are coming"

Saudi women won their right to drive last September...

Saudi Arabia's King Salman issued a royal decree granting women their right to drive in September last year.

The order ended a long-standing policy that banned women from driving in the country. The ban had been heavily criticized by international campaigners and women's groups.

In recent months, Saudi women have been getting ready to get behind the wheel, attending driving lessons and prepping up to officially own the kingdom's roads.
