A Saudi Arabian Airlines flight from Jeddah had to make an unexpected stop in London when a Saudi woman went into labor en route to New York.

Woah

Although the Saudi mother was in her seventh month of pregnancy, she had a note from her physician saying she could travel.

The plane had completed about seven and a half hours of the 12 hour flight when the mother went into labor.

No gynecologists or obstetricians were on board, but the flight attendants assisted the mother deliver a healthy baby girl.

"A happy event forced the Jeddah-New York plane to land in London," Abdul Rahman Al Fahad, a Saudi Arabian Airlines officer, said, according to The New Arab . "Both the mother and the baby girl are doing fine"

While a health baby is always great news, Saudi Arabian Airlines made things even better by giving the newborn and her family free plane tickets!
