School exams will be rescheduled in Saudi Arabia, thanks to a royal decree that was issued on Saturday evening by Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

As per the decree, the school term will now end earlier than expected and exams will be taken in two to three weeks time. 


This has come as a major relief to students who worried that the holy month of Ramadan, which begins at the end of May -one of the hottest months of the year in Saudi Arabia- would coincide with the exams.

The exam rescheduling decree came in an announcement that included several other royal decreesBut for students, their exams were all that mattered and their reaction on social media is a clear indication of that.
