For the first time, a woman has been assigned the role of spokesperson for Saudi Arabia's embassy in the United States.
Former socioeconomic strategist and a director of the Arabia Foundation, Saudi national Fatimah S. Baeshen tweeted her new position as the kingdom announced that it was abandoning its driving ban for women.
She's been living and working back and forth between the USA and GCC countries, until she recently relocated from Riyadh to Washington, D.C.
