After making headlines for redefining the way we season steak, Dubai-based Turkish chef Nusret Gökçe is back in the news. 

This time it's not for anything culinary related, but for officially redefining the way we vote. 

During the Turkish constitutional referendum, which took place on Sunday, Gökçe, better known as SaltBae, cast his vote. And what better way to do that than in typical SaltBae fashion? 

What's that you ask? This photo is worth a thousand words. 

In less than 24 hours the photo has garnered nearly one million likes on Instagram.

Not too surprising given the fact that in the past few months, the restaurateur has become an internet sensation and now has 5.9 million followers on Instagram. 

Salt Bae has also become a favorite among celebrities and royalty.

Earlier this year he met the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed in Dubai, and last month he posted a photo of himself cooking with none other than King Abdullah of Jordan.
