Moroccan-American rapper French Montana is no stranger to paying homage to his home country. This time, the singer actually put forth cash to help out Moroccan kids.
The 33-year-old rapper recently funded two pre-school classrooms in the North African country, according to PEOPLE. Montana - whose original name is Karim Kharbouch -is aiding the Sabae School of Fida-Mers Sultan district.
According to TMZ, the funds will be used to provide supplies and classroom maintenance, enough to sustain the classrooms for several years.
Montana was originally born and raised in Morocco as a child before immigrating to the United States with his family at the age of 13.
The artist has been involved in humanitarian efforts on more than one occasion.
In February, Montana launched a campaign to provide resources to undocumented immigrants in the US to allow them to pursue higher education.
The campaign titled "We Are The Dream" was done in collaboration with MTV and Get Schooled, a non-profit organization. Montana lead the campaign's social media.
The 33-year-old was also named rap's first Global Citizen Ambassador after donating $100,000 to the Mama Hope Foundation in Uganda. The funds were used to help build a hospital to aid pregnant women in the country.

In January, Montana released a new music video titled "Famous" ... all shot in Morocco's blue city Chefchaouen.
"This video means a lot to me!! Shot this in my motherland Morocco," he wrote in a tweet at the time.
The video was directed by Julien Christian Lutz, known as Director X, in partnership with Samsung. It featured Chefchaouen's white-washed blue homes that stand against the backdrop of the Rif Mountains. The city is the definition of a picturesque destination, and the music video showcased its beauty flawlessly.
