Last night, The Academy released a series of photos of all the nominees up in the running for awards at the 91st edition of the Oscars.
To say Egyptian-American actor Rami Malek and Lebanese director Nadine Labaki slayed the photoshoot is truly an understatement. They were both donning all-black outfits, and striking an elegant pose like it's easy.
The thread is all over Twitter
Malek - who is nominated for his role as Freddie Mercury in Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody - was standing alongside Roma's lead actress (Yalitza Aparicio) and director (Alfonso Cuarón), among many others.
The 37-year-old actor is up against four others for the "Best Actor in a Leading Role" trophy.
Labaki - who is nominated for her film Capharnaüm - was sitting elegantly on the staircase in a black dress. Other Oscar nominees in the photo with the Lebanese director include Bradley Cooper (for his role in A Star is Born) and Regina King (for her role in If Beale Street Could Talk), to name a couple.
The film is competing against four others in the "Foreign Language Film" category.
