Just a week after Rami Malek got awkwardly - yet unintentionally - shut down by Nicole Kidman, the two were spotted hanging out together.

On Sunday, the two stars were photographed as they hugged things out during the Critics' Choice Awards ... and the moment was filled with smiles. The two were spotted on the red carpet at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.

What went down at the Golden Globes?

After the announcement of the Bohemian Rhapsody's win at the Golden Globes, Malek approached the stage and attempted to reach out to category presenter Nicole Kidman, but it didn't go as smoothly as we all expected. The 37-year-old eventually just stood in the back while executive producers Graham King and Jim Beach accepted the award.

Malek even talked about the incident on Jimmy Kimmel Live, explaining that he's known Kidman for years.

Except that didn't seem to be the case during the 76th Golden Globe Awards. Kidman also spoke about the moment with ET, explaining that it was an innocent misunderstanding.

"We're really good friends," Kidman explained. "I just did not feel his hand on my back."

But, it seems as though Malek put the awkward moment aside

"Nothing can stop him now"

"YAY. I love happy endings"
