Located in the exclusive Regent's Park section of London, the media began calling this the "Qatari mega-palace", when plans to convert the three adjacent properties into one huge mansion were revealed earlier this week.
It will be the United Kingdom's first $312 million dollar home. Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al-Missned, the wife of Qatar’s former emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, bought the homes last year and is overseeing the conversion. It will be the London residence for their son and current emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani who is 34.
According to the Daily Mail, the gulf nation's royalty now owns more of London than the Crown Estate.
In addition to a hair salon, indoor swimming pool, a cigar room, two reception rooms and a kitchen with heated window seats, the mansion boasts 13 bedrooms, a few massage rooms and two garages. There are also children's quarters and a few entertainment rooms, but our all-time favorite part is the opulent garden that can be transformed into a ballroom with dramatic lighting. We are eagerly waiting for our invitations for this summer's gala season.
