Getting everything from food to cigarettes to shisha delivered via your smartphone is the norm in the region. And ever since Kuwaiti food delivery service Talabat was acquired in early 2015 for a whopping $170 million, many companies have been hoping to follow Talabat's path to big money.

And one Kuwait-based website – Q8Desserts – has found its niche in the online delivery market, delivering desserts. Whereas Talabat delivers food from users' favorite restaurants including KFC, McDonald's, and Pizza Hut to name a few, Q8Desserts delivers from all the sweetest dessert joints in Kuwait.

We like the idea already. And in a country with the 10th highest rate of obesity in the world, we're thinking it might find some succes.

So what are you craving? Ice cream? Chocolate? Cake? Well, just log in to Q8Desserts and your sweet treat will be on its way.

Have a craving for some sugar but unsure what exactly you want? Just use the site's "Categories" and "Occasions" menus to help you decide.

According to the website, "Q8Desserts.com is a dessert delivery website where many sweet places are put together to ease sweet-lovers search. The goal is to become the main dessert directory in Kuwait."

"It all started when a person wanted to try out something sweet, good and can be delivered. It took him a long time to compare and find what he wanted. Hence, came the idea of putting all the dessert shops in one place."

Sounds like a great idea to us. Any plans of expanding outside of Kuwait anytime soon?
