Prince Saud bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Arabia's former foreign minister who died in July, was the top trending search this year in Saudi Arabia, according to Google's 2015 A Year in Search list .

The prince died at the age of 75 in Los Angeles, following a series of surgeries. He was the world's longest-serving foreign minister, and well known for working on improving the image of Saudi.

On the list, he is followed by MBC presenter Saud al-Dosari, whose untimely death at 46 in August  left his legion of fans upset and confused about the conditions surrounding it. Then came in the Turkish TV show "Banat Al Shams" at No. 3, and King Abdullah, who died in January came in at No. 4.

At No. 5 came in another Turkish TV show, "Al Oshk Al Mashbouh."
