It all started when Twitter user AyiaAsh asked the Twitterverse if they could help make #PalestinianMenBreakTheInternet trend as a means to help her find her 'naseeb' aka 'the one'. 

Soon after, it began trending on the social media platform with many men tweeting photos of themselves ... because as one user put it, why not?  

Of course, Palestinian men did not shy away from flaunting their good looks

They even asked women to "say mashallah even tho I look like a kalb"

Mirror selfies got quite the attention cuz of course they did ...

And women used the hashtag for the purpose it was created ... to find 'the one'
