This isn't an uncommon practice in the UAE. " Fifty Shades of Grey " was pulled from screening in the country after The National Media Council's preliminary decision to cut 35 minutes from the 125-minute film. "The Wolf of Wall Street," which starred Leonardo DiCaprio as a rogue Wall Street trader, had 45 minutes of its original content removed back in 2014.
