Two films about museum artifacts that come to life at night is obviously never enough. And so, we now have a third. Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb , much like its predecessors is light, fun and heartwarming. And yet, once again, the script doesn't really give the cast a proper chance to shine. Don't get me wrong, Ben Stiller, Robin Williams, Owen Wilson, Dan Stevens, Ben Kingsley and all the others give entertaining performances. But they are restricted by a script that sometimes tries to hard to please only to fall flat.

The late Robin Williams has some touching moments which feel like a fitting farewell. The overall vibe of Night at the Museum 3 (the final chapter in this trilogy) makes you leave the cinema with a silly smile on your face. In fact, the general silliness is a guilty pleasure that's hard to resist.

The basic plot is rather simple: "Larry spans the globe, uniting favorite and new characters while embarking on an epic quest to save the magic before it is gone forever." The "epic quest" leads our intrepid security guard with his ragtag crew of historical figures to the British Museum. While one might question why the security at this world famous museum is so lax and why, out of every single historical figure possible, Sir Lancelot was selected to represent the UK's rich heritage, the antics will amuse. Don't expect any profound history lessons though.
