Egypt's billionaire business tycoon Naguib Sawiris made headlines last week when he declared that he is willing to buy an island off of Italy's or Greece's coastline to home refugees.

The island, which Sawiris will name after Aylan Kurdi, the 3-year-old boy whose body was found on Turkey's shores after his family attempted to flee their home country, will cost about $100 million.

With the overwhelming support coming from Egyptians and people from all over the world, Sawiris is asking for the help of volunteers who are willing to lend a helping hand.

So whatever you can think of, any idea or proposal to help out, go ahead and send an email to [email protected]!
