Lebanese singer Myriam Fares announced that she is pregnant on her official Facebook and Instagram accounts Tuesday, as she posted a photo of her in a long, fitted black dress that shows off her small baby bump with the hashtag #MFsecretLove .
The famous Arab songstress got her fans to speculate what news lies behind the mysterious hashtag when she first posted about it a week ago, indicating that the secret would be announced "soon," followed by a series of photos of her in loose clothing posted with the same hashtag.
Some fans speculated that the hashtag was about a new music video featuring her husband Danny Mitri, some speculated that it was about revealing exclusive photos of the two of them together, while others correctly guessed the pregnancy announcement.
The "queen of the stage" announced her marriage to the Lebanese-American businessman last summer when she surprised her fans by posting a photo on social media from her honeymoon that shows off her wedding ring.
Fares revealed earlier this year the details of her relationship with Mitri and their surprise wedding on the Lebanese TV show "Al Mutaham." She said on the show that she had first met him 10 years ago and that their relationship had slowly developed from friendship to love.
"To me, Danny was always my closest friend, he became close to my family and my friends, and every time he came to Lebanon he knew that he had another home in Lebanon, we were always in contact with each other," Fares said.
"To him, I was his future wife from the beginning, ever since 10 years ago, he decided the first time he saw me that I was his future wife."
