Here's a story of a very inspirational Sumo wrestler, an Egyptian named  Rami Al Gazar . Gazar, who started off as a worker in a factory, never really gave in to his struggles. Instead, he worked incredibly hard and overcame all challenges.

He simply refused to call it quits.

Earning the tile "Rami the Butcher," Gazar has become one of the strongest names in Africa, both local and across the region. Winning multiple continental and international tournaments, his latest victory became a worldwide celebration. He won first place in the heavyweight worldwide championship as well as becoming the open weight champion worldwide.

Born on July 15, 1985 in Mahalla, a Western governorate, Rami spent his days working as a maintenance man in a factory while working as a trainer for the Mahalla judo team, earning just 140 Egyptian pounds per month he said in a TV interview on Egyptian channel CBC Two.

However, Rami wanted something a bit more and sent many requests to the company asking for time off to pursue his passion and sports career. Unfortunately, the factory denied all his requests.

"Rami Al Gazar, sumo world champion, tells his story of glory."

After receiving and invitation to the USA Open tournament, Rami was psyched to participate and asked the Egyptian Federation of Sumo and Judo. Nevertheless, his requests were denied and no funding was given to the wrestler, he told Al Wattan News.

Even with the Federation's rejection, Rami refused to go home with his tail between his legs. Instead, he worked to to fund the trip on his own because he was aware of the significance of this particular tournament and its positive effects on Egypt's image if he did indeed win.

Despite the many obstacles he faced and the lack of funding to travel, Rami went on to win multiple titles and quickly became an inspiration and one of the best sumo wrestlers in the world.

"A champion despite corruption. Rami Al Gazar became the world champion in sumo wrestling despite making 140 Egyptian pounds per month and borrowed money for the flight to the tournament held in USA."

"Rami Al Gazar, the son of Mahalla and the champion of the USA open tournament for sumo wrestlers."
