Arab national fatally attacks Indian businessman in luxury Dubai hotel

Mahendran Yadav, managing director of Emirates Homes Real Estate Brokers, died Monday in the hospital following the Sunday attack.

An investigation has been launched by Dubai police into the attack of a prominent Indian businessman on Sunday following the man's death in the hospital.

Mahendran Yadav, managing director of Emirates Homes Real Estate Brokers, was attacked at the One&Only Royal Mirage after a dispute with an Arab national over mobile phone photographs. The Arab national allegedly brutally attacked Yadav and he was rushed by ambulance to the Rashid Hospital.

On Monday evening, shortly after Yadav's family arrived at the hospital, he died as a result of the injuries sustained from the attack.

Yadav originally worked as a driver when he moved to Dubai many years ago. Working hard, he managed to make a fortune in real estate. He had managed the Emirates Homes Real Estate Brokers firm since 2003.
