Every year, football players compete to snatch the "Golden Boot" - an annual award presented to the leading goalscorer in the Premier League.

This year, Egyptian football star, Mohamed Salah, secured the 2017-18 award after finishing off the season with 32 goals. On Sunday, Salah received the award at Anfield, a football stadium in Liverpool, England.

"I had no clue about the record [Salah's 32 goals]," said Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, according to ESPN.

But, it seemed as though his daughter, Makka, stole Salah's thunder ... with her adorable kicks and runs.

"The cheer every time she touches the ball ... and the boo's when Salah does"

"Turns out, the only person more popular than Mo Salah, is Mo Salah's daughter"

"God bless her"

"I hope Liverpool sign her"

"Mo Salah's daughter stole the show"

"Cutest kid ever"

"Impressive pace and a decent shot"

"Kicking and passing the ball better than most Everton players"

"Why does Mo Salah's daughter look like Mo Salah more than Mo Salah looks like Mo Salah?"

"Heartwarming"

Mo Salah: Player of the Year

In April, Salah was officially named the Premier League's Player of the Year.

In June 2017, he became the most expensive player in the history of Liverpool F.C. when he transferred from A.S. Roma.

Since then, his performances have been making headlines time and time again. Earlier this year, Salah won the Standard Chartered Player of the Month award for the sixth time.

The trophy is awarded by the football club based on monthly performance and fans' votes.

Salah is also set to represent Egypt at the 2018 World Cup in Russia as part of the national team, with Egyptian nationals pinning their hopes on him to lead the team to victory.
