Last weekend, people around the world were talking about Argentinian footballer Lionel Messi's marriage to his childhood sweetheart.
Now, we have one question in mind: Where will the third-highest-paid athlete in the world spend his honeymoon?
According to media reports, Messi and his new wife, Antonella Roccuzzo, have chosen multiple locations for their honeymoon trip, including the Arab North African Kingdom of Morocco.
The FC Barcelona star and his new wife opted for a less traditional honeymoon, bringing along their two sons to the Caribbean to celebrate their marriage.
Afterwards, the family is expected to head to Morocco and spend a couple of days in the city of Marrakesh, according to Al Arabiya.
The New Arab reports that the couple's family and close friends will join them in Marrakesh, where they will stay at one of the city's famous private castles.
This will not be the first time the FC Barcelona star visits Morocco, as he has already partaken in a friendly game there in 2012.
He is expected to sign his biggest deal to date with FC Barcelona when he returns from his honeymoon later this month. His new deal will keep him at the club until 2022 for a whopping £19.5 million ($25.17 million) per year.
Not the first international celebrity to be interested in Marrakesh
Located in the northwest of Morocco, Marrakesh is a world-famous touristic destination many foreigners, including international celebrities like English football player David Beckham, have fallen in love with.
From its vibrant souks, to its delicious local dishes and traditional guest houses, it is no surprise that the city was named the most popular travel destination in the world by TripAdvisor in 2015.
