Jaden and Willow Smith Coming to the Dubai Summer Surprises Festival

The annual Dubai Summer Surprises will feature a star-studded line-up throughout the "45-Days of Summer" festival.

From the Arab world, Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram will perform on Aug. 24 and Bahraini teen star Hala Turk will perform Aug. 16. American teen stars Jaden and Willow Smith, the children of American celebrities Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith will appear on August 13 and 15 for their first regional concert.

“Every year, we strive to offer our visitors and residents something new and exciting. For the 18th edition of DSS, we have raised the bar further in terms of innovative events including appearances and acts by global and regional celebrities, who will perform under our DSS Starz series, in addition to world premieres by much loved children’s entertainment characters,”  Laila Mohammed Suhail, the CEO of Dubai Festival and Retail Establishment said, according to Gulf News.

In addition to the musical acts, the festival will feature live shows including Power Rangers Super Megaforce, Madagascar Live!, Dora The Explorer Live on stage, Stories of SpongeBob, Cartoon Network Fiesta and Swan Lake Acrobatic Ballet By The Great Chinese State Circus among many others.

Launching on July 23 and running until September 5, this will be the 18th edition of the annual festival. Dubai Festival and Retails Establishment, an arm of the Department of Commerce and Tourism Marketing, coordinates and manages the annual event, which is held at shopping malls and performance venues throughout Dubai.
