Miss Lebanon Valerie Abou Chacra  made it to the final 5 at Saturday's Miss World  2015.

Abou Chacra was joined in the final five by Miss Russia, Miss Indonesia, Miss Jamaica and the eventual winner Miss Spain.

Lebanese rallied behind Abou Chacra, with #MissWorld trending on Twitter in Lebanon throughout the day Saturday.

The 27-year-old television actress was consistently in the top rankings throughout the finals, which were held Saturday in Sanya, China.

Abou Chacra was crowned Miss Lebanon in October, beating out 13 other contestants to earn her spot at the Miss World finals.

"I believe that entering Miss World is a great opportunity for me to be able to convey the beautiful image of my country," Abou Chacra said on her profile on the Miss World website . "I pledged to make a difference in the world by helping the less fortunate and to be a role model and the voice of the young generation inspiring them to become their best."
