In recent months, Lebanese fashion blogger and social media influencer, Elsie Jbeily, has been making a name for herself on Instagram.
Based in Dubai, Jbeily, who boasts 262K followers on the platform, uses Instagram, along with her newly launched blog, to share her sense of style with the world.
Speaking to StepFeed, the social media personality told us more about how she launched, sharing details on the latest projects she's taken on.
A social media influencer and yogi
Jbeily, who was born in the south of Lebanon, is a Dubai-based digital influencer and blogger, who's addicted to everything fashion related.
She and her husband are also yogis, who take yearly trips to Coimbatore in India to participate in yoga retreats.
Other than fashion and yoga, Jbeily's interest in traveling takes her around the world and opens up doors for her to collaborate with international fashion and beauty brands.
"Fashion has always been my addiction"
About a year ago, Jbeily launched her Instagram account with the aim to share her fashion sense and style with people. In a relatively short period of time, her following started to grow.
"I launched my Instagram page because I enjoy photography and posing and I am extremely passionate about working in fashion. It's something I never view as work, but that I do wholeheartedly," she said.
"Soon after I started posting on my page, it saw huge growth and I noticed that companies started approaching me to promote and advertise for them," she added.
Since she launched, Jbeily has collaborated with over 60 brands and credits a lot of her success to hard work and her husband's support.
"I got a lot of support from my husband, who's also a photographer. He supported my career right from the start and takes all the pictures I post," she explained.
The success Jbeily found on the social media platform eventually led her to launch her own blog, which went live last month.
When asked why she decided to launch a blog, she explained she felt that it would be a great extension to her Instagram account.
When asked what she aims to achieve through her Instagram page and newly launched blog, Jbeily said:
"I aim to influence people in fashion and lifestyle because these are what interest me the most. Fashion has always been an addiction to me. I am fond of styling my outfits/looks. I enjoy matching my clothes with jewelry/accessories giving my followers ideas on how to style their own.
It is my honor and pleasure being an inspiration to many Arab and international fans. My success in this domain is the result of their constant support and love," she added.
The essential fashion tips Jbeily wants every woman to know about
When asked to share her top three fashion tips with readers, Jbeily said:
"First, do not follow the trend blindly and always create your own style when putting looks together; do not mimic others otherwise you will not stand out. Second, accessories embellish your look and add an interesting touch to even the most simple of outfits, so always add them to your attire. Third, eat healthy food and use organic/natural beauty products to maintain a fit body and radiant skin."
On her future brand collaborations and projects
Jbeily's schedule in the next few months is jam-packed with events, projects, and collaborations.
"My upcoming projects include new collaborations with fashion stores and beauty companies in the GCC and internationally," she told us.
The social media personality also said she will soon be collaborating on an exciting project with international skin scare brand KIEHLS, in Lebanon.
In addition to all that, Jbeily is working on the launch of her own online store, and says it will include fashion items that reflect her identity but that also suit the style of women who follow her on social media.
