Lebanese fashion designer Abed Mahfouz showcased his work at the second edition of Arab Fashion Week in Dubai, held between March 16-19 at the St. Regis Hotel.
Raised in Lebanon and surrounded with everything it takes to become a designer, Mahfouz entered the fashion industry in 1990, when he decided to open up a tailoring workshop. Nine years later, he got the opportunity to showcase his complete collection of wedding gowns at the Royal Plaza Hotel followed by another showcasing of both couture and bridal looks for the opening ceremony of the Phoenicia Intercontinental Hotel. The official launch of the Abed Mahfouz Bridal Line, the "Dreamer," took place in June 2001. In the following year, Mahfouz showcased his first couture collection during Fashion Week in Rome, one of the first Lebanese designers to join Alta Roma.
His Spring-Summer 2016 collection debuted at Arab Fashion Week and it's beautiful!
