Lebanon has been doing it all wrong for the past few years. What it was missing was most definitely the Abdul Aziz sisters to remind the world that Lebanon is and always will be the Paris of the Middle East. Forget the fears about ISIS or the lack of a central government, the solution to Lebanon's woes is LBCI's latest reality TV show.
The Abdul Aziz sisters – Alice, Nadine and Farah – will soon have their own reality show on LBCI focusing on fashion and, of course, the scintillating drama of their daily lives. Many are comparing "The Sisters" (which their show is also, oh-so-orginally, named) to the infamous Kardashians.
There are no sex-tape rumors, at least not yet.
There aren't enough plastic surgery obsessed celebrities in Lebanon, so The Sisters will be a welcome edition to the high culture that is normally featured on Lebanese television. Let's get to know them a bit better.
There's not just one,
or two,
but three. They always look so candid.
Remind you of anyone?
The Sisters are the curators of Style In Beirut, which is an Instagram account with approximately 155,000 followers. The headline describes the page as "Your instaStyle guide for a daily dose of the latest trends & style ideas in Beirut & all over the world." Facebook and Twitter accounts connected with Style In Beirut have significantly fewer followers, but all that might change.
The release of the show has not yet been finalized or announced by LBCI. In the meantime, we will all just wait in eager anticipation.
