On Friday, the Kardashians were out celebrating Kendall Jenner's 22nd birthday ... and there was one detail that did not go unnoticed.

It all started when Kourtney Kardashian's 24-year-old Algerian boyfriend, model Younes Bendjima, posted a photo on Snapchat during the birthday celebrations ... following it up with photos from a mosque hours later.

Exhibit B:

Twitter user @AmirahAwalludin pointed out the irony in a tweet with screenshots of Bendjima's snaps.

"Kourtney’s boyfriend celebrated Kendall’s birthday and then went to Friday prayers. I mean... Alhamdulillah boy is still on track," she wrote.

The tweet has since gone viral, garnering over 24,000 retweets at the time of writing.

Naturally, a flood of jokes followed.

"When you're still confused as to whether to make Allah or the Kardashians happy"

"I was surprised"

For those wondering ... "it's called balance"

"Every week sis ... he goes without fail alhamdullilah"

"Just like every Muslim guy I went to school with"

FACT: "If you're dating a Kardashian, you can never be on track"

Others were quite happy ...

Some used this as an example to criticize Trump's false rhetoric

And then there were those ...

The duo's relationship dates back to October 2016

Kardashian started dating Algerian model and former boxer Bendjima in 2016.

The two met at Paris Fashion Week and have been spotted together on several occasions, including in Hollywood and Cannes.

In August, they were spotted in Egypt as they rode camels near the Giza Pyramids, smoked hookah at a local cafe and soaked up the sun during their visit.

Bendjima was born in Algeria but now spends his time between New York and Paris.
