Jordanian YouTube entertainment channel Fooq al-Sada released a pretty hilarious parody of "Uptown Funk," the summer hit performed by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars.
The channel, whose aim is "to encourage the youth to show their talent," is hosting a satirical show during Ramadan that tackles social and political issues in Jordan and the Arab world. Much like its previous work, the "Uptown Funk" parody takes a jab at youth unemployment. Published on July 6, the video has already racked up close to 39,000 views.
Roughly summarized, the song is about a young man walking to job interview in his suit because his car stopped in the middle of the road. He sings about frustration on not being able to find a job and the strain of debts.
