Known as the "undisputed queen of Twitter," best-selling British novelist J.K. Rowling is no stranger to perfectly shutting down hateful trolls and Islamophobes on the platform.

Earlier this week, she did it again, perfectly responding to a Republican campaigner who shamed Ariana Grande after she called for gun control in the U.S. in the aftermath of Sunday's Las Vegas massacre

Scott Presler asked Grande why she hadn't called for "radical Islamic control" in the aftermath of the terrorist attack on her Manchester Arena concert, which took place earlier this year.

And Rowling didn't miss the chance to powerfully hit back.

This is how it went down:

It all started when Ariana Grande tweeted this out

Then, Presler responded with...

Enter J.K. Rowling... who wasn't having any of it

"Islam doesn't kill people.

People kill people."

Naturally, Rowling's tweet went viral...

...and got her a lot of backlash from a few Islamophobes.

There were offensive tweets too...

...but the majority of tweeps hailed her response

"You are a brave woman"

Some showered her with love

A few joined her in hitting back at hate

"When will they realize that terrorism has NO religion?"

"As a Muslim, THANK YOU"
