The Arabic language has certain letters that other languages don't have. The same is true for letters and sounds that exist in other languages but not in Arabic. Such is the case with the phonetic sound "geh" — as in the word get

Global fast-food giant Burger King™ decided to embrace these differences in a new video campaign that took the internet by storm. The video aims to touch on the various ways Arab consumers pronounce the name of the chain and of the term burger in general. We've all heard "Burkar Kinj," "Burjer Kink," and "Burjeer Kinj" being pronounced by Arab consumers.

But, why try to fix the differences when the chain's burger is actually called a Whopper? That's the message the fast-food chain was attempting to send with its newly launched campaign (and successfully did so). Posted on Burger King KSA's official Twitter account, the video has amassed over 1 million views in less than 4 days.

"Linguistically accurate? Your tongue will know the difference!"

At the start of the video, two men get into a heated argument over the pronunciation of the word "burger." It starts when the guy in the passenger seat tells the driver (his friend) that he wants a "burjer" as they were ordering food via the drive-through.

The man sitting in the driver's seat is quite puzzled to hear his friend pronounce the term that way.

"Who the heck taught you Arabic? It's called 'burgher!!' With a 'gh'!!" he said.

In the midst of their argument, a teacher pops up in the car in an attempt to bring the debate to an end.

"In the Arabic language, the word 'burjer' is the correct way of pronunciation – both in terms of grammar and spelling," Mr.Mithad said.

But, it wasn't over yet. Another teacher appears and goes against what Mr. Mithad said.

"Who on earth pronounces the word 'burgher' with a 'j'??"

To settle the debate, one guy asks the Burger King operator about his pronunciation.

"Bro, it's called 'Whopper,' 'Whopper'!!!" the operator says.

People online were "having it their way"

Hilarious responses ensued

"First time I see an ad I actually like. Witty"

"This is a good ad"

"I'm dying from laughter"
