The family of Dubai's ruler welcomed a new member this week, just after Mother's Day.
Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed, the daughter of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid – the ruler of Dubai and the vice president and prime minister of the UAE – has given birth to a baby boy.

Sheikha Manal, who serves as the president of the Dubai Women Establishment and the UAE Gender Balance Council, is married to the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed.
Her husband is also the son of Sheikh Zayed, the founder of the UAE and the brother of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, the ruler of Abu Dhabi and President of the UAE.
The proud parents named their new bundle of joy Rashid bin Mansour.

Of course, this isn't the ruler of Dubai's first grandchild
Sheikha Manal and Sheikh Mansour already have four other children: Fatima, Mohammed, Hamdan and Latifa.
Sheikh Mohammed also has several more grandchildren from his other sons and daughters.
