What happens when an Arabic Israeli Twitter account tries to preach coexistence and diversity by showcasing its police force? It gets trolled in the most savage way possible.
This week, an account that spreads news about Israel in the Arabic language tweeted a photo of four women in the illegal state's police force. In the caption, Israel Arabic wrote:
"Coexistence in Israel: Muslim, Christian, Druze and Jewish women in the Israeli police."
All that is fine and dandy except for the fact that the state's existence is coming at the expense of innocent lives. A large number of Palestinians have been shot dead by police and soldiers who justify their crime by saying the individuals were carrying knives. Others have been killed following clashes with Israeli forces.
Other than the violence burdening the people of Palestine, the state of Israel has stolen land which it claims to be its own. Israelis and many Westerners often deny the existence of a Palestinian state, but Arabs - on the other hand - live to make statements regarding the legitimacy of the state of Israel. That's exactly what people started doing when Israel Arabic's photo was shared on Twitter.

"Working diligently together to enforce apartheid"
"They are also connected through the fact that they are on land that doesn't belong to them"
"In harmony for apartheid"
"This is the real coexistence in Israel"
Israel often terrorizes and illegally imprisons children. The military law in the apartheid state allows authorities to detain and imprison children who are 12 years old or above. But that doesn't mean the police in Israel don't jail those who are younger in age. In a statement to StepFeed last year, the Palestine Institute for Public Diplomacy (PIPD) raised concerns over children being terrorized by Israeli authorities. The NGO's officials told us around 700 children are arrested by Israel every year, adding that in 2017 alone, Israeli forces arrested 1,150 Palestinian children. Some of these children are as young as nine and 10 and undergo severe and traumatic experiences that scar them for life.
Earlier this year, a United Nations inquiry confirmed that Israel committed war crimes and crimes against humanity by targeting unarmed children, journalists, and disabled individuals in response to the Great March of Return demonstrations in 2018. According to the report, Israeli forces killed 183 Palestinians at the time, including 35 children.
