How Haifa got two Egyptian dancers out of jail early

If Haifa did it, it has to be legal, right?

Two female dancers, Shakira and Badris, had been sentenced to six months in jail by a North Giza court for "debauchery" and "inciting debauchery" in Egypt.

Yes, dancing can now land you in an Egyptian prison if it's perceived as "too enticing." Here's the video the landed the pair in hot water.

However, their sentence was reduced to 3 months on Sunday after defense lawyers were able to convince the court that videos of "explicit" content may be perceived in a variety of different ways.

How'd they pull that off? They played the judge a Haifa music clip.

The judge reviewed the new evidence, many times presumably, and realized that a six-month prison sentence for "debauchery" and "inciting debauchery" was way too harsh.

Haifa Wehbe can now add "legal defense" to her accomplishments list ... Along with "how to make debauchery-inciting video clips."
