Earlier this month, Dubai’s Meraas opened another food truck park called Last Exit 'Mad X' on Sheikh Zayed Road in Jebel Ali, opposite to the existing Last Exit 'E11'.
It will cater to those travelling from Dubai towards Abu Dhabi, and will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The postapocalyptic themed Last Exit ‘Mad X’ features war rigs, monster trucks and abandoned cars.
The smell of food and disaster combined
Metal, metal, metal...
Most of the materials used have been sourced from recycled wood, scrap metal, wires, cables, pipes and cars.
Spread across almost 500,000 square feet, 'Mad X' will be more than three times the size of Last Exit 'E11', which opened in July 2016.
The new Abu Dhabi-bound, Last Exit 'Mad X,' follows a Mad Max theme - the well-known postapocalyptic Australian action movie.
Mad Max would be proud
Abandoned cars everywhere
"It’s up to you whether stop for a quick bite or come for the day. All we ask is that you bring an appetite for great food… and your imagination," their website writes.
Makes you want to go back and forth between Dubai and Abu Dhabi
Last Exit has expanded its food truck parks with the newest 'Mad X' addition.
This Emirati concept currently has three themed food truck parks besides 'Mad X', and they are: 'E11' in Jabal Ali, with its theme being 1950's America; 'D63' in Al Qudra, with its equestrian theme; and 'D89' in Al Khawaneej, having an animal farm as its theme.
Everything just looks so cool
