American actor Christopher Lloyd, best know-known for his role as the crazy scientist in "Back to the Future," will be one of the star guests at this year's Middle East Film and Comic Con . No doubt upon arrival in Dubai, Lloyd will wonder if he actually made it to the future ...
Running from April 7 to 9, comic fans from throughout the Middle East will be converging on Dubai for Comic Con.
Other top guests in attendance will be Fabian Nicieza (co-creator of "Deadpool"), Veronica Taylor (the voice talent behind Ash and May in "Pokemon" and April in "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," among numerous other roles) and even Stan Lee (former president and chairman of Marvel Comics and the man behind characters such as Spiderman, the Hulk, the Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Thor and the X-Men) will appear via video-link for a live Q-and-A session with fans.
A slew of other international artists and regional guests will be in attendance as well.
Considering the United Arab Emirates has served as the setting for top cult film franchises such as the most recent installments of " Fast and Furious " and " Star Wars " as well as the forthcoming " Star Trek " film, where better for the region's nerd community to converge to immerse themselves in all the coolest sci-fi and comic book culture?
