Dubai's Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan officially tied the knot last week along with two of his brothers; a piece of happy news for the entire emirate.

On Tuesday, images of the invitations that were sent out for the religious marriage ceremonies were made public and showed just how luxurious the royal family can get. The photos were posted on Instagram by Mama Noora, the woman who's been the royal family's nanny for decades.

If you were thinking people invited to the signings of Al Akhd (official marriage contract ceremony) received a paper-based invite, you're wrong. Instead, it was presented in a huge embroidered box with a golden plate and a popular local dessert inside it.

Local media outlets said the dessert is called Omani Halwa - "a soft, sweet gelatinous mixture that is flavored with saffron, cardamom, ghee, nuts and rose water."

The dish is said to be quite popular among Emiratis and expats across the UAE.

"It's so beautiful"

Everyone's now craving Omani Halwa

"I want dessert now."

Congratulations were in order again
