After news broke of a terror attack in New York City earlier today, Laura Loomer, a well-known American right-wing political activist took to Twitter to unveil her deep hatred for all Muslims - especially those residing in the US.
Using the hashtag #banIslam, Loomer called the religion a "cancer" and tweeted that all Muslims are responsible for the deadly violence.
When information about the attacker's identity came to light, Loomer continued her social media attack against Muslims that only grew more intense with the passage of time.
In the wake of the terror attack that killed eight people in Manhattan, Loomer began by identifying herself as a "Proud Islamophobe" and labeling Muslims "savages" who "ruin everything"...
She later stated that "Islam is a cancer" and "we should never let another Muslim into the civilized world"...
Loomer then declared that there is “no such thing as a moderate Muslim. They’re ALL the same”...
She also lashed out at innocent hijabis walking near the scene of the incident...
And went on and on and on...
However, it didn't take long for Gigi Hadid to respond to Loomer's senseless Muslim-bashing tweets.
Here is how Gigi Hadid responded:
"Laura, I hate to give you the attention, but I need to tell you- You're a f**king moron," Hadid's tweet read.
In an interview with Porter Magazine in April, Bella Hadid, Gigi's sister, proudly reaffirmed her identity as a Muslim and told the magazine that her father - Mohamed Hadid - raised her and her siblings with Islam as an important part of their lives.
"I am proud to be a Muslim," she said at the time.
Gigi Hadid is also currently dating Zayn Malik, who is a Muslim of Pakistani descent.
