A recent collaboration between Maybelline and half-Palestinian model Gigi Hadid has resulted in one of the most anticipated lipstick shades out there yet.
Dubbed "Khair," which is Arabic for "benevolent," the signature red shade is named after her sister Bella's middle name.
The scarlet hue is apparently Bella's favorite color, and by naming it after her sister, Gigi is not only honoring her sibling but is paying tribute to her Arab heritage.
"Honestly, I wear red lipstick more than Bella does ... I named it after her because her favorite color is red. It's a great basic cherry that looks great on everyone," she revealed in an interview with Vogue.
The lipstick is part of the GIGIxMaybelline West Coast Glow collection, which includes two other shades of red lipstick: a warm orange called "Austyn" and a deep red shade called "Lani."
