Palestinian-American models Gigi and Bella Hadid embraced their Arab roots and rocked headscarves and turbans during the Marc Jacobs show at the New York Fashion Week.
The Hadid sisters are showcased in the American fashion designer's Spring 2018 collection, which Reuters describes as a bold collection with an "Arabian flair."
The Marc Jacobs Spring 2018 show, which marked the end of NYFW, echoed One Thousand and One Nights, the renowned Arabic folk tale.
It was all about colors, with sequins, florals, Ankara (African) prints, oversized V-neck sweaters ... and turbans!
The designer himself wore a "sporty-meets-chic number [which] resembled an updated version of an 'Arabian Nights' character," according to Reuters.
Of course, fan-favorite high-profile models, the Hadids, were cast for the show, one of the most anticipated in the fashion event.
