Summer is here and while the temperatures might not be too hot yet, they will be soon. Inspired by Middle Eastern flavors, here are seven smoothie recipes that will help keep your cool.

This almond smoothie made of 1 cup almonds, 3 cups cold milk, two teaspons of sugar and a splash of orange flower water.  Just press pulse.

With 3 tablespoons of store-bought Jallab syrup, 1 tablespoons golden raisins, 1 tablespoons pine nuts and crushed ice, this sweet smoothie is better than dessert.

Start with 1/2 cup milk, 1 cup sliced strawberries, 1/2 banana, 2 heaping tablespoons raw cashews, 1/2 teaspoon good vanilla extract, 1/4 teaspoon lemon zest and 1/2 cup ice. Enjoy the taste!

Made with two slices of cubed summer melons (such as watermelon, honeydew or cantaloupe), crushed ice cubes, 2-3 tablespoons of powdered sugar, does anything spell summer better than melon?

With 1 container  Smooth Strawberry Yogurt (or your favorite flavor) along with ½ tub Whipped Topping, 1 chopped strawberry, this is sweeter taste than Ayran but just as tasty.

Peel that ripe banana, get 2 cups of frozen mango,  1/2 cup of almond milk, 1/2 cup of cashew butter and blend away. Serving in a wine glass is optional.

With 1 large banana, 1 1/2 cup of chocolate soy milk, and 1 heaping tablespoon of peanut butter or cashew butter, this is the healthiest peanut-butter cup you've ever had.
