Over the weekend, hundreds of thousands of people tuned in to watch the UFC 229 event, which saw Russian-Muslim mixed martial artist Khabib Nurmagomedov beat out former Irish UFC champion Conor McGregor.
The two were competing for the UFC lightweight title, but it wasn't McGregor's defeat that got people talking.
A post-fight brawl - which saw Nurmagomedov attack McGregor's training partner outside the fence - went viral online. At least two members of Nurmagomedov's team attacked McGregor simultaneously.
The post-fight brawl came weeks after McGregor trash talked Nurmagomedov.
"He talked about my religion, he talked about my country, he talked about my father," Nurmagomedov said.
But, Muslim Twitter was occupied with something quite different.
A video of the brawl shot from a different angle - posted by Moroccan-American rapper French Montana - became the talk on Muslim Twitter. In it, the rapper can be heard screaming "Allahu Akbar" ... which is Arabic for "God is Great."
According to TMZ, the rapper won $100,000 off of Nurmagomedov's victory, which probably explains his reaction.
