Here are the craziest Arab superstitions. Read them and then email them to your closest 15 friends, or else you will have bad luck for 13 years. We swear.

1. If someone takes the salt from your hand, it means you two will have problems and are most likely to start arguing. No matter what, don't ever pass the salt.

2. If someone spills water on you, you two will never speak again. Be careful where you pour.

3. If you cut your nails at night it's bad luck. Duh.

4. If you open an umbrella inside, it is bad luck too. We don't have any proof, but why take any chances.

5. If you wear the color blue, no one can jinx you. Blue is the color of earth and stuff.

6. If you know you're going to encounter a person who usually jinxes people, wear your underwear inside out so that his powers don't work on you.

7. If you spill olive oil it is evil. They don't say what happens, but it's evil.

8. If you're having Turkish coffee make sure to spill it unintentionally, apparently it's good luck.

9. If you run over a cat it's bad luck. Go animal rights.

10. If you accidentally step over onion peels, you are in for a big fight with your husband. Be careful where you step.

11. If a bird poops on you it's good luck. But crows are bad luck. So if a crow poops on you, is it okay?

12. If you step over your brother, it is bad luck. We're not sure why. Just don't do it, why would you anyway?

13. Don't step over a broom if it is lying on the floor. What? Brooms like to sleep too.
