Beginning in 1915, more than a million Armenians were killed over a three year period. This very tragic genocide touches the hearts of many people, including, perhaps surprisingly, the Kardashians. Yes, those Kardashians. Kim Kardashian and Co. are Armenian-Americans.
We don't usually expect the Kardashians to engage in serious topics, but this is one that Kim has always taken interest in.
Kim, along with her husband Kanye and daughter North West, is currently in Armenia, ahead of the 100th anniversary of the genocide, which is marked on April 24. Kim expressed her joy and excitement through this caption: "My husband and daughter came to Armenia as well to see my heritage and learn about my ancestors! My cousins came along too! So excited I can't sleep."
Kim thanked Armenia for the warm welcome and is looking forward for the delicious Armenian delicacies.
Her sister Khloe also shares Kim's enthusiasm and support for Armenia.
