Will Paris Hilton Sue Ramez Galal over 'near death' prank?

Has Ramez Galal gone too far this year?

Apparently American celebrity Paris Hilton  plans to sue Ramez Galal for his recent airplane stunt.

Sources close to Hilton told TMZ that she is "totally freaked out" following Galal's prank  on "Wakel El Gaw" and that she actually believed the plane was going to crash. Since Hilton flies constantly, a fear of planes will cause a great deal of difficulty.

Sources also said that she has gone so far as to discuss the case with lawyers. According to TMZ, her lawyers said she has a solid case agains Galal for "emotional distress."

Hilton also insists that she had absolutely no idea that the show was a prank and that nobody from her staff was aware either, again according to sources.

While we certainly empathize with Hilton – and Galal's other victims – we're not 100 percent convinced the sources are telling the whole truth.  For her part, Hilton has posted nothing regarding the stunt on social media.

Note her most recent Tweet, which doesn't sound terribly distressed.

Also, the episode was obviously filmed quite some time ago since the promo – including Hilton smiling and laughing with Galal – aired at the beginning of June. Could these rumors just be more of Hollywood's headline-stealing gossip?

We're not jumping to any conclusions. But we definitely understand if Hilton and Galal's other unfortunate guests are more than a bit freaked out the next time they fly.

Maybe its time for Galal to take a hint.
