New documents obtained by TMZ show that Paris Hilton was aware of the prank pulled on her by Egyptian jokester Ramez Galal on "Wakel El Gaw."

So ... Paris Hilton was pranked on Ramez Galal’s annoying Ramadan Show “Wakel El Gaw"

She seemed to take it lightheartedly, considering.

(Yeah, flick that hair)

But then SOMEONE ( TMZ, we’re looking at you) started a rumor that Paris was going to sue.

Op-eds left and right started dropping like flies all over the Internet.

We’d previously speculated that was just a BS publicity stunt.

Nu-uh! No way!

And we were right! Paris signed a contract with the show’s producers

TMZ obtained documents proving Paris and her rep were fully aware of everything.

Well played, Paris.

Oh well.
