IMAX Cinema crushed all happiness for Star Wars fans in Cairo after it had to cancel the opening day for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" due to receiving a corrupt copy of the film.

“We are extremely sorry to let you know that the IMAX copy of STAR WARS shipped to our theater is corrupt,” the theater announced Wednesday.

Needless to say, people's anger was bit over the top.

"You are all genetic waste," said Mahmoud Salem, an obvious die-hard Star Wars fan.

Fortunately, the film began showing as scheduled Thursday.

Corrupt copy? Disturbance in the force there was.
