The Arabic hashtag that translates to "what will we import to China?" was the top trending hashtag on Twitter in Egypt on Monday, with thousands of odd-ball suggestions pouring.
Although it's not clear whether the original source of the hashtag was serious, Egyptians, as always, turned the conversation into yet another display of their unmatched sarcastic powers, showing off their beloved sense of humor.
The humor ranged from making fun of China's domination of the global market to making fun of the Chinese themselves, and of course, Egyptians don't waste an opportunity to make fun of themselves!

Importing sarcasm does make sense given the circumstances of this Twitter feed.
"Egyptian mothers that turn off the fan while Chinese kids are sleeping," @7antari4a2 said. Who wouldn't want to import annoying habits?
"The people who are responsible for Egypt's secondary certificate examinations," @Doma_xr said. High school students sure wouldn't mind that.
"Chinese phones, because we have too many of those now," @AwwabAnwar said. Because why not?
Or perhaps just the famous Egyptian shisha flavors? That's not such a bad idea!
"People who say "Alooo" in chats," @Rashad2020Rehab said. Those who type in a chat what they say when they speak on the phone really do need to be stopped.
And of course a Twitter conversation can't go down in Egypt without someone referencing the Ramadan Crunch ad and its famous spinning “Babzouz” bee toy that comes free with “Eskenchiser,” which apparently also makes viable export material.
