According to BBC Sport, Egyptians Ali Farag and Nour El Tayeb are now the first ever married couple to win the World Series titles at the US Open Squash Championship.
This came after El Tayeb beat Raneem El Welily 3-2 in the women's final just a few hours before her husband beat Mohamed El Shorbagy 3-0 in the men's final.
The young married couple won their medals on Saturday and are now considered the first married couple to win a major sporting title on the same day, at the same event.
