Ed Sheeran notified his fans via Instagram that he had sustained a bicycle injury and posted a photo of his arm in a cast - an injury which puts his upcoming Dubai show in jeopardy.
"I've had a bit of a bicycle accident and I’m currently waiting on some medical advice, which may affect some of my upcoming shows. Please stay tuned for further news. Ed x," the post read.
The highly-anticipated singer/songwriter was scheduled to perform in Dubai this coming November 23.
The event was completely sold-out within hours of the initial announcement.
"Ed Sheeran is about to start his Asian tour in Taipei and it ends at the Dubai Autism Rocks Arena. Once we have more updates on any potential implication for the Dubai show we will of course share with fans and readers - for now, we wish Ed a speedy recovery," Thomas Ovesen, CEO of 117 Live, told Khaleej Times.
