Dubai Expo 2020 unveiled the winning designs for its three main pavilions Sunday – with each space designed around one of the world expo's core themes of mobility, opportunity and sustainability.

Thirteen international architecture firms competed to design the pavilions, which in addition to serving as showcases during the expo must be utilized after the end of the fair.

The pavilions will be built at Al Wasl Meeting Plaza, according to The National, and serve as a focal point for the expo, the first World Expo to be held in the Middle East.
