Step aside New York, it looks like Dubai has become a serious competitor, according to data released by KAYAK.
According to KAYAK, Dubai is the No. 1 trending New Year's eve destination users search for on the site.
Analyzing data from more than 1 billion searches, KAYAK noted 10 locations that saw the highest increase in traffic to create the ranking.
"It really is the best indication of the up-and-coming, where the people in the know are going,” said David Solomito, North America Brand Director for KAYAK, according to Forbes.
